This collection includes publications created and distributed by the Athletics Department. The Athletics Department oversees all sports and athletics on campus.

This collection contains items by and about the family of William Greenleaf Eliot (1811-1887) and his ancestors, notably, T.S. Eliot.

This collection programs, newsclippings, photographs, and memories from William Greenleaf Eliot, Jr.’s high school and college days.

This collection contains material relating to Washington University, correspondence, Harvard material, law files, governmental papers, personal papers of Mr. and Mrs. Eliot, scrapbooks, honorary degrees, photos and certificates. 

The papers of William G. Eliot include diaries, letters, published works, published and unpublished sermons and talks, newspaper clippings of articles written by or about Eliot, photographs; and biographical and other material about Eliot. Also included in the collection are enslavement documents, which include letters and bonds of indemnity as Eliot purchased enslaved persons in order to emancipate them.

Most images are of the various academic departments within the School of Engineering and Applied Science. A small section of images document other schools and programs at Washington University, including the Women’s Society and exhibitions at Olin Library.
